- We really enjoyed our stay at Abode Bombay. It’s a charming small hotel in the heart of Colaba, minutes from the Gateway of India, so very central and close to restaurants, shops, many sights & pretty much everything you need. We were in a Simple room which was quite small but fine for what we needed for 2 days in Mumbai. The communal spaces were pleasant and comfortable & very social. Breakfast is included and is very good. The staff were delightful - very friendly & helpful. We booked a half day city tour with Wasu through the hotel which was excellent. I would definitely stay at Abode if I visit Mumbai again but would probably pay a bit extra to have a larger room.

The Hotel exudes Mumbai’s history and architecture, being David Sassoon’s ex home. Location is the best with Gateway to India, Taj, Museums, shopping just 1-2mins away.
