St Mary and St Nicolas is the historic parish church of Spalding dating from 1284. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the quiet prayeful atmosphere or explore the architecture, art and history of the building and the people associated with it.
There is a free leaflet to welcome visitors - there is also a Polish language version. Various guide books are on sale including a guide to the windows and the nine painted hatchments connected to the Johnson family of nearby Ayscouhgfee Hall.
On Sundays Prayer Book worship is accompanied by a choir of boys and men at 11.00am (Eucharist) and 6.30pm (Evensong). There is a modern Family Communion at 9.30am. A said prayer book Holy Commion at 8am. There is also informal contemporary worship, "Connect", in the Vista Hall at 11.15am.
Entry to the church is free. It is open every day between 9am and 4.30pm.
