The Ngapali beach resort in Myanmar has soft, gently shelving sand and backed by coconut palms.The hotels are all low rise and set amonst the tree line and even the largest has only 45 rooms-the majority are much smaller. The resort is blessed with 30+ restaurants owned by locals from the  nearby fishing villages. The best way to get there is by a 45 minute flight from Yangon,flights from Bagan,Heho and Mandalay also run in high season.
