Breakfast in Cincinnati is as varied as the establishments open. But the two local favorites far and away are Perkins and Bob Evans. Both offer breakfast 24 hours a day and even serve lunch and dinner items as well. Their prices are reasonable and if you go to Perkins, try the magnificent seven or, if you are really hungry, the tremendous twelve. Perkins pancakes are light and airy and far superior to a Denny's or IHOP. There are also various Waffle House and donut outlets available but if you want a real treat go to Buskin Bakery in Hyde Park. They are a local hit for donuts and pastries. If you pass a Servatti's the same thing applies. These are old, local favorites and should not be missed if sunrise finds your stomach growling in Cincinnati.
