Arizona Snowbowl is a great "Mom & Pop" style ski resort.  They boast being the only mountain in the USA that can open their ski area on 100% treated sewage effluent snow. To ensure water conservation, their artificial snow making machines draw A+ wastewater from the Flagstaff sewage treatment plant. What you will find is an unpretentious but fabulous little resort that has something for everyone.  Expert skiers and boarders will stay primarily on the Agassiz Lift.  It serves all the expert terrain on the mountain, and with 2000 vertical feet, experts and advanced intermediates enjoy a nice long run with multiple options.  The shorter Sunset Lift serves 650 vertical feet of intermediate terrain as well as the Sunset Terrain Park.  The terrain park is complete with multiple jumps, fun boxes and rails.  Beginners are served by two lifts and a surface conveyor for beginners, near the Hart Prairie Lodge.  The crowds aren't usually a problem, especially on weekdays.  Top of the line skiing and snowboarding equipment can be rented from the Rental Shop, located in the lower level of the Hart Prairie Lodge.   There are two lodges on the mountain (Hart Prairie and Agassiz) both offer food, a full bar, and indoor and outdoor seating.  The food is all set up cafeteria style with many great and tasty options (burgers, dogs, fries and chicken nuggets).  There are a variety of lift ticket discounts for children, seniors, military personnel, large groups and off peak skier days.   Visit the resorts webpage for up to date rates.  Arizona Snowbowl is a great resort with varied terrain and friendly people working there.
