The Palacio Almaraz is located at Calle de los Quesos, s/n.
The Palace is also called the Palacio de los Grijalvas and was built at the end
of the 17th century, with a façade called Herreriana (named after
the famous architect Juan de Herrera of the 16th century). At the
upper part of the balcony, which is adorned with Ionic columns, one can find
the Almaraz coat of arms. The ground floor doorway is flanked with columns
joined to the walls with Doric capitals that support a lintel. The second floor
doorway is flanked by pilasters with the Ionic order.
