Built in 1929, on the National Historic Building Registry, the largest stone fireplace in Minnesota. Located 14 miles NE (towards Canada) of Grand Marais on Highway 61, on the lakeside of the highway, easy to spot, with a large sign. Open 7 days a week in the summer. During the ski season, open on weekends, by reservation only with (very good) set menus at set times. Non-smoking, no alcohol served. Don't miss the Sunday brunch!
