Page, Arizona is a small community located near the Arizona/Utah border.  Due to its extremely remote location, most people opt to arrive here by car.  C ommuter airline service is available from either Phoenix or Denver into Page Municipal Airport, where there are two rental car agencies on-site.  Otherwise, the closest airports are Flagstaff Pulliam Airport (150 miles South);  St. George Municipal Airport in Southern Utah (155 miles West);  Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (280 miles West); or Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (285 miles South).  There is no bus or train service to Page, but there are taxis and shuttle services in town, including the Lake Powell Resort and Wahweap Marina. 

Regardless of how you get to Page, you will want a vehicle while once you arrive as the major points of interest take a bit of traveling.  When preparing for your drive it is best to visit an online tourist board or call one to receive free maps; they will help extensively on the highway. The state of Arizona has a great online tourist board that can help you prepare for your visit and of course, for all other destinations within the state. The site offers plenty of free travel guides by mail when requested which is a nice feature from which to take advantage. The state also has an online site dedicated just to their highway system which comes as a huge help for travelers! The site is called what else but Arizona Highways. You don't want to get lost in the desert so visit the site and request a free map. If you are flying into Las Vegas, you may also want to visit the Nevada state tourist board for maps for that area.
