For a one day tour of Savannah there are two musts. The first is the Ogelthorpe 90 minute trolley tour. You can start at either the Visitor Information Center at 301 Martin Luther King Blvd or park at Ogelthorpe headquaters at corner of Poppy Street and Turner St. where the parking is free. It is a great overview of Savannah giving you both its history and great potential of what to see. The entire tour is given first and then you can be dropped off at the sites of your choice and picked back up and taken to other places on the tour or back to where you picked up the tour. The second must is the Bonaventure Cemetery particularly if you are a fan of "Moon River". It is written about the river that surrounds this beautiful, picturesque cemetery. The Victorian grave markers are worth the trip. It is located southeast of Savannah in Thunderbolt, Chatham County, Georgia.
