Getting to Cedar City is easier than ever before with additions to the regular connections between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas airports with the
Cedar City Regional Airport. The airport has grown in thanks to its ideal location in serving three nearby National Parks, two major ski resorts as well as two national monuments. In most cases a stopover in either Salt Lake City or Las Vegas will be necessary to complete your trip by air to Cedar City.
Upon arrival at the airport, rental cars are available through
National Car. Driving into Cedar City is easy on U.S. Highway 15. If you plan on driving to and around the area, a visit to the state of Utah's great and highly informative
online tourist board will help you plan your trip. The site offers many ideas and brochures upon request along with maps. You may contact them by calling 1-800-UTAH-FUN. Several maps to and around the National Parks of the area are for sale on the site as well.
Cedar City's own
online tourist board that is worth checking out as well for their maps. Their
map with distance in miles from the nearby major cities is particularly helpful.
