The most popular area to shop in Kihei is South Kihei Road, where there are numerous malls and retail outlets.  The Azeka Shopping Centers I and II, which sit on opposite sides of South Kihei Road,  are especially popular, with a wide variety of shops and specialty stores. One shop in particular is Awakening in Paradise, where you can find books, crystals, music, sacred treasures and intuitive readings.  Its a beautiful store next to Longs.   There are also several fast food places in the area, so you don’t have to venture far for a quick bite.

The Kukui Mall is another major shopping center in the area, and the only one that has a movie theater. Past Kukui Mall, is Kihei Kalama Village with over 40 wonderful outdoor shopping kiosks, a perfect place for unique souvenirs like local handmade bath and body goodies, art, clothing and more.

The Piilani Village Shopping Center is a good place to go if you need to buy something other than souvenirs.  It has a Safeway, Blockbuster, a dry cleaners, and a bank.

For more unusual merchandise, try The Rainbow Attic, which sells an eclectic array of clothes, art, and furniture.  Or, visit the popular Hilo Hattie store for gifts, clothes, and pretty much every kind of souvenir that any visitor to Hawaii might possibly want.

The more upscale stores, like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Tiffany & Co., can be found at the nearby  Shops at Wailea, which is a really fancy shopping mall at the Wailea Resort.  This mall also has several art galleries that display work by local and international artists.
