Mountain Bluebirds                                                                                                                                                                                                                            For over fifty years, volunteers in and around Bickleton have been building, maintaining, and putting up bluebird houses.   It is estimated there are 1500 or more houses in the area earning Bickleton the nickname,  "The Bluebird Capital of the World" . The volunteers have won national recognition from the North American Bluebird Society for their conservation efforts.
