The reasort extends for some considerable distance along the sea front and is a mixture of gift shops (found everywhere) a fanatastic marina and lovely beaches. the old town. of Alcudia,lies at the top of a hill over looking the harbour area ,do walk it is well worth a visit. The buses get very crowded and tues and sundays are market days with a great selection of fruit and veg together with clothing bags shoes and an assortment of gifts .
The marina end of the resort does not have much night life, and . Here you will find plenty of shops selling fags and beers etc. There is alsa a fantastic ice cream parloir on the front that does wondeful ice creams of all sizes and descriptions including milk shakes. If you head down towards C'an Picafort you will find a go kart track opposite the roundabout and the Hidropark. Which is fairly basic but a lot cheaper than the other water park in Mallorca.
late night entertaiment is mostly found on the street called caller astoria here you have a mixture of late night bars and bells night club inclucing the now famous vamps karaoke and disco bar with karaoke in 7 languages good priced drinks and a good laugh every time your there and they have a great selection of dance music from the latest club tunes to the sixty,s and is open till 3am so it is a cheaper option for entertainment than a nightclub as these can prove to be expencive,
also near here you will find Burger King, KFC and Pizza Hut plus lots more shops and restaurants. There is also a crazy golf and another much better go kart rack down this end. this is called dollar street! or the real name of pedro mas y reus,! lots of small bars and cafes here reasonably priced but the canny lad geordie bar has great meals a good selection of kids meals and the best breakfast menu in alcudia and a place where you can make new friends and have a quiet drink till late at night .
If you want Spanish life you will not find it here, the resort is very much geared to mass tourism, but there are very good bus links to Palma, Inca, Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa. If you go to Puerto Pollensa it is a good place to start a stroll n the mountains.
