Sully Historic Site, a picturesque farmhouse situated directly off of Route 28 near Dulles International Airport, provides the interested visitor with a first-hand look into Northern Virginia ’s colonial past. Sully is the former home of Richard Bland Lee, the son of Henry Lee II, the uncle to General Robert E. Lee, and Northern Virginia ’s first representative to Congress. The main house is a beautiful example of Federalist style architecture with adjoining outbuildings, gardens, and representative slave quarter.


Hours of Operation: Open Daily 11am - 4pm, except closed Tuesdays and some holidays, please check with the site. The park grounds will close at 5pm.
