Great low level walks to the Birks, Acharn Falls, Weem Woods or the River Tay Walk which you could take from Aberfeldy to the House of Menzies for Lunch.

Adventure Sports are hugely on the increase in this area with;
lots of family mountain biking and some great downhill. The local Bike shop will hire you a bike then run you to the top of the hill and leave you to wend your way down off road through the woods back to Aberfeldy
Highland Safaris offers several activities in the area, including a red deer and barn owl encounter. gold and gem panning, and a BikeTrax Course (it's free for those who have their own bikes or bikes are available for hire) and there are lovely tracks for cycling and walking.
This is the Scottish equivalent of the English Lake District but without the crowds!
