Market Area –
This district has the highest concentration nightlife and is defined by North and South Market Street along with East Bay Street. There are many great places to unwind after dinner and have a glass of wine or cocktail and they are all within walking distance of each other.

Upper King (North of Calhoun Street):
The second highest concentration of nightlife where there is a good mix of sports bars, upscale lounges and local hang-outs
Lower King (South of Calhoun Street) -
Area Gay Bars:
Cross the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge to Coleman Boulevard where you will arrive at Shem Creek (2 miles), a favorite to locals and travelers, where there are bars and restaurants on both sides of this beautiful coastal waterway. Also, the King Street Grille on the corner of Hungryneck Blvd and the IOP Connector is a great place to watch the game and grab a bite to eat.
