Travelers who are planning a trip to Sandusky should make it a point to obtain travel information from the Lake Erie Shores & Islands Welcome Center (Sandusky/ Erie County Visitor’s and Convention Bureau). This welcome center contains a wealth of information in the form of brochures and attraction guides, area maps, and discounts via the Shore Savings Card for Sandusky and the surrounding area. The customer service representatives at the Welcome Center are knowledgeable and friendly and are generally able to give helpful travel advice to visitors who stop in.
