The National First Ladies' Library is the only one of its kind educating the public of the contributions made by thecountries first ladies as well as other notable women in the history. The tour consists two buildings; the 1895 renovated bank building and the 1840s Victorian home. Tours begin in the Education & Research Center located at 205 Market Ave South viewing themain exhibit in the Museum before proceeding to the Saxton McKinley House where you are guided through with a costumed docent. This is the family home of First Lady Ida Saxton McKinley built in the 1840s by her grandfather and is also dedicated the Historic Home of President William McKinley.
Canton Museum of Art- Stark County's home for fine art. CMA's nationally recognized Permanent Collection contains over 1,200 pieces focusing on 19th and 20th Century American watercolors and works on paper, as well as an outstanding collection of contemporary ceramics.The Museum has featured numerous noteworthy exhibits, including Andrew Wyeth: the Helga Pictures and most recently, Kimono as Art: The Landscapes of Itchiku Kubota.
