Set against a dramatic cliff face, Firiplaka beach, on the south side of the island, is one of the top beaches on Milos. Unlike the busy (but breathtaking) Sarakiniko and the more commercially developed Paleochori, Firiplaka is more isolated and quite spacious. There is a small beach bar open over the summer.

While it's commonly recommended to be on a Northern beach when Southern winds are blowing, as long as you don't mind some waves, it is just as enjoyable as on calm days, and less busy.
