Besides taxis, shuttles, limos, and the public bus system, Raleigh also offers two types of trolley rides. The first is called the “Showtime Trolley,” which is on an every 15-20 minute schedule on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The rides are free and are available from 5:30 p.m. through 11:30 p.m.
The second trolley ride is called the “ Historic Raleigh Trolley Tour.” This trolley runs on Saturdays from March through December, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This ride provides a tour of the downtown Raleigh area.
