Are you ready to plan the perfect trip to upstate New York and the Greater Binghamton area, but aren't quite sure where to start? Not a problem. There are a number of excellent resources available to help you plan the perfect Adirondack adventure.

When planning your trip, your first stop should be online at the website of the Greater Binghamton Convention and Visitors Bureau. Here you will find a wealth of information about places to stay, where to eat, what to see, and what to do while in town. In addition, a calendar of events can help you choose when to visit. (Who can resist the annual Spiedie Fest?)

For information focused on the upstate New York region, take a look at the information offered by Round the Bend. You will find Binghamton-specific information under the Central Leatherstocking section.

For general travel information about the entire state, you will want to head to the State of New York's official online presence at  I Love New York.   From here you can get general information on the upstate region, along with travel ideas.

If print resources are more your thing, a number of guides provide ample information to help you plan your trip. Titles to look for include Mobil, Frommer's, and Fodor's guidebooks. If you cannot find a state-specific title, you will want to look at regional guides that focus on the mid-Atlantic or New England states.
