There are several places to eat/drink in Las Vegas while enjoying an unbelievable view of the famous Las Vegas Strip.
1: The Mix Lounge - On the 64th floor of THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay sits the Mix Lounge and Restaurant. This lounge offers 360-degree views of the strip with floor-to ceiling windows, even the restrooms offer floor to ceiling window in the individual stalls. The Lounge features black leather throughout with red lighting; however, to make the most of the experience, try the outside balcony which offers an incredible view of Las Vegas Boulevard (the Strip). Mix serves a light food menu until 11pm and drinks are expensive on average. If your looking for a full meal, try the MiX Restuarant, a 70 table restaurant featuring a $1/2 million, 13,000 glass bulb chandelier.
2: Voodoo Lounge - Rio Resort - Known as "The original party in the sky", the Voodoo Lounge is located on the 50th floor of the Rio's Masquerade Tower. Newly remodeled, the lounge's 50th floor is now conected to the 51st floor via a 40-ton, illuminated staircase. The lounge itself is dark and sexy, featuring voodoo themed drawings on walls that glow in the presense of the clubs black lights. Management recently announced several upgrades are coming to the Voodoo Lounge, so keep checking the club's website.
3: GhostBar - The GhostBar is located on the 55th floor of the Palms Hotel. It is perfect for partying 20-30 year old's looking to mingle with other singles. The views are some of the best in Las Vegas and service is outstanding. Drinks average $8-9 bucks.
4: Mon Ami Gabi - Paris Resort - Located directly across from the Bellagio Resort, it offers an awesome view of the dancing fountains. The outside patio is a great place for a romantic evening dinner. Prices are relatively good for the quality of food served. And their wine-by-the-glass options are wonderful: very fine bordeaux choices, for example.
5. Sugar Factory - Paris Resort - this restaurant offers outdoor tables situated adjacent to the Strip, where you have a great view of the world passing by, as well as the Bellagio Fountains. Given the location, the food is reasonably priced.
6. Eiffel Tower Restaurant - Also located at Paris, this restaurant sits on the 11th floor of the replica Eiffel Tower in front ot the resort. It is an ideal destination for a special occasion, as the restaurant provides sensational views of the Bellagio and its fountains, as well as a glittering view of the Paris balloon. Note: all of the window tables are for two, which further enhances the romantic aura of the restaurant.
7. Top of the World and Level 107 lounge at Stratosphere Resort - A revolving restaurant and lounge located near the top of the Stratosphere Tower. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. The lounge features live music 5 nights a week and is open from 4PM. The food quality, service and value is excellent. The view is magnificent, especially at sunset.
Also, it is worthwhile venturing from the Strip to Binion's Ranch Steakhouse in Fremont Street. It offers panoramic views from the 23rd floor, together with high quality "traditional steak house" cuisine at a reasonable price for the high quality (check the menu on their website). The steaks and crab are sensational!
