Located at Old Cowtown Museum, along the scenic Arkansas River, the Diamond W Chuckwagon is held in the Empire House Theater. The Diamond W Wranglers are the foremost reason to go, but the food is pretty darn good too. Formerly known as the Prairie Rose Wranglers, the Diamond W Wranglers have a large and ever-growing fan base. They sing a variety of Western songs--not country, but real cowboy Western, sung in tight harmony with expert guitar playing. The songs are interspersed with corny jokes and tall tales that make the whole experience a rousing good time for the whole family. The food is all-you can-eat western barbecue--savory smoked beef brisket, smoked chicken, cole slaw, potato salad, rolls and butter with cheesecake for dessert and beverages. Seating is by reservation as it is limited, so check the website for dates, times and ticket prices. To learn more about the group and their show schedule go to their website at www.thediamondw.com
