By Car

From Chicago- Peoria is a popular weekend destination from Chicago and the drive is just under three hours as it's about 160 miles. To drive from Chicago you will start on Interstate 90 East to Interstate 55 South en route to St. Louis. From there you will take Interstate 74 toward Peoria. From Other Cities- Peoria is a realistic driving destination from St Louis, Minneapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Dubuque, and other cities in Illinois. By Plane

Peoria does have a small airport that has connections to the nearby cities' airports such as Chicago, St. Louis, Minneapolis and even Las Vegas. The  Greater Area Peoria Airport has taxi service readily available as well as rental car companies to assist you in finishing your journey upon arrival. 

By Bus

Peoria Charter Coach offers 4 daily shuttles from O'Hare Airport, Midway Airport and Normal, IL to Peoria. They drop off/pick up at Bradley, Downtown CityLink Transit Center, and PCC Plaza. They also have buses on the weekend that come to Peoria(Bradley) from Woodfield Mall, Oakbrook Mall, Woodridge, and Joliet. All buses have free WiFi and outlets. 

Burlington Trailways offers 2 daily shuttles from Galesburg, Normal, IL and Champaign, IL.

By Train

Amtrak offers transportation from Chicago, St Louis, Joliet, Springfield, Pontiac, and other cities. The train will take you to Normal, IL Amtrak Station where Peoria Charter Coach and Burlington Trailways operate as thruway connections and will take you the rest of the way to Peoria.
