If you are in the Northern Palm Beach County or Martin County area, your visit will not be complete without a visit to this beautiful State Park. Located 5 miles North of Indiantown Road on U.S. 1, (on your left, watch for the signs!) the park offers year round: Ranger guided boat tours of the Loxahatchee River to "Trapper John's" camp, Kayak and canoe rentals, Bicycle, equestrian and hiking trails, and Interpretive Center. Also, camping, including cabin rentals, are reasonably priced. Only minutes from the beaches, this is a great family place to learn about the history and nature of the winding Loxahatchee River.

Don't be surprised if you see: alligators, owls, hawks, cranes, herons, manatees, armadillos, tortoises, and box turtles, deer, bobcat. The park is huge. Get a map.
