During the summer months Breckenridge's
Riverwalk Center is open for business, attracting some of the best performing artists in Colorado and the nation. The Center is home to the National Repertory Orchestra, The Breckenridge Music Institute Orchestra, and the Blue River Music Series, which has featured the notable pianist George Winston. Several touring concerts and theatre productions also make stops here. For directions, show schedules, and tickets visit the Center's website.
Beware though of sitting in the lawn area. Fine if it is free but you do not want to pay for a "seat' you can't see anything at all from the lawn.
The Breckenridge Music Festival is another major performing arts attraction. This annual festival features classical, jazz, opera, and rock performances. See their website for tickets and details.
