In town on the road there are excellent options for breakfast.

"Panadaria D" is a German Bakery, known as 'Dicks',  where you will find wonderful home-made breads and pasteries.  Their "cafe con leche para llevar" is a treasure for those who love coffee!  The many choices of whole-wheat breads are a good option for taking home to enjoy as well. Reviews

Right next door is "Friend's" a bustling breakfast and lunch spot.  Try the museli with fruit, yogurt, and honey.

A hidden gem is "Claro" in front of the hotel Casablanca, on the road past Janet Supermarket (East end of Cabarete).  This is a must experience place.

For breakfast on the beach there are many good options: Lax, CNS, Serenade at Villa Taina, Jose O'Shea's....wandering up and down the beach is the best way to discover these places.

"Eze Bar" in front of the Carib Wind center (great shopping and Laser sailing) has amazing wraps - tortillas filled with vegetables, meats, and cheeses.

"Sandro's" is on the road in the center of Cabarete, next to the Tropical Clubs hotel.  The Dominican food is fantastic here - try the "pollo guisado" and also the fried platanos....also good are the milkshakes....

In the center of the beach Mojito Moments, run by Sonja and Franco, is one of the locals favorites. They  produce fabulous sandwiches and salads that are served with a freshly made juice. They also serve the best cocktails in town.

At Ocean Dream Plaza you will find Gordito's which serves the freshes tex mex fast food, prepared in front of you for you to sit and eat or takeaway.

At Kite beach, a 20 minute walk west along the beach, you will find three lovely little cafes:

The first Kite Club Cafe is at Kite Club, run by Calen, who serves delicious wraps, specials of the day etc. and yummy baked goods.  Reviews

The 2nd is Vaca Bar run by super friendly Cabarete sweetheart Cami Cow - located inside Aqualina Kite Resort.

A little further is one of the top restaurants in Cabarete on tripadvisor (reviews) Chichigua, which is located in the eXtreme hotel.  They have healthy menu options including many things that are grown right onsight.  They also have a lovely protected view of all the action on kite beach.

El Rincon inside Plaza Media Luna - owned by a sweet Belgian lady who is an EXCELLENT chef, she has handmade Belgian chocolate and fabulous lunch specials.  This is directly in front of Millennium Resort and Spa/LEK, near to Tropicoco.
