Karya (the soup shop)

Traditional Turkish fast food.  Great Soup especially the Tomato, and Garlic soup.  Fantastic casseroles, the vegetarian is a favourite.  No frills just basic benches and tables but always packed out with Turkish people, few tourists seem to use it but the food is sublime.  Try the chicken kebabs in a wrap (about £2.00).  Not licenced but they will bring beer from a nearby bar.

Rahat Bar

The comfortable bar.  Large screen satellite TV showing sports.  Internet and comprehensive library of books and playstation for the kids.  Karaoke on Friday Nights.  Popular with British as well as local Turkish people.  No food, but next to the Soup Shop so you can order and eat at your table if you wish. Reasonably priced drinks.  Try a traditional Nargilye Pipe in lots of flavours.
