Lush, green and leafy, Mitchell Park is a tranquil haven in the upmarket Durban suburb of Morningside. It is always immaculately kept, with fresh, colourful mass plantings of flowers around wide, shady lawns. For the youngsters, there is a playground with all the requisite climbing, sliding and swinging equipment. Paths are wide and wheelchair and pram friendly. There is a well- maintained small zoo. - The only one in the greater Durban area.
