Spinner dolphins are often (but not always) seen at this reef, as a result it is one of the most popular attractions in the area. 

Access is managed to help protect the dolphins, boat numbers are restricted and they must obey the guidelines on moorings. Buoys mark off the swimmers only area, within the horseshoe reef, before the line of buoys that mark the "dolphins only area". 

Dive sites (10 - 15m depth) are at the end of the horseshoe, the nearby pinnacles and the outside of the horseshoe reef.
