Fishing is seasonal depending on the specie you wish to target and the time of year that offers the best opportunities at successfully landing the fish of your dreams! Here is a general guide as to which fish you are most likely to land in the strongest numbers throughout the year. Of course fish don't follow a calender and in many cases, the bite can be great when normally slow and slow when normally strong.
Sailfish - Caught in strong numbers year round. Peak season is from late December through Mid-May
Marlin -(Black, Blue,Striped) - Late Novermber through Late January offer the highest numbers, but plenty of Marlin are caught year round.
Roosterfish - July through late October offer the strongest numbers. Roosters are caught year round as well.
Mahi -Mahi & Yellowfin Tuna - Caught is good numbers year round.
The best months to fish are from November through August, October and November are typically the slowest months of the year on the bite.

Charter Prices - Depending on the size of the boat and the type of trip, a full day Off shore charter can run between $950-$1600 per day. Most full day charters include Lunch, beer, soda, bottled water, fruit, snacks, ice, bait, all tackle, and fish cleaning. Gratuity for the Captain and mates to share is never included and 15-20% of the charter rate is customary for you to offer at the end of the trip.
Smaller Center Console Panga Style Boats for 1/2 day near shore trips can run betwen $350-$450 for a 1/2 day and $500-$650 for a Full day.
