Annah Rais long house is well known for its beautiful natural surroundings and the uniqueness of the life style of its villagers, the Bidayuh, one of the many ethnic groups found in Sarawak. For the travellers, there are a lot of things that you can learn and do while visiting. The very interesting thing that you all can do is visit all around the village and learn about their lifestyle. Well about taking the picture of the villagers, do ask for permission before taking the picture as this is showing some courtesy and an ice-breaker too! Most of the villagers know and also understand how to speak in English so maybe this would help you to know more about them. There's a homestay for you who want to stay for a night or two, its so traditional and you will get a great adventure while you stay here in Annah Rais long house.
