Cu Lao Cham Island occupies beautiful sand beaches, forrested hills and the sea. With primitive landscape, the island is ideal for camping, swimming and scuba diving to enjoy the corals and beautiful marine life. It deserves to be one of Vietnam Pristine Beaches to see.

There are 04 sea-ways to visit Cham Islands:

1st way: is the fastest way yet costly. You to Cua Dai, Hoi An and rent a speed boat. After 30 minutes, you could land you feet on the white sandy beach of the Island. Be aware however that these are river speed boats and are quite often overloaded. If the sea is rough don't even attempt to visit the island this way. It's too dangerous.

2nd way: Also at the Cua Dai, there are local supply boats sailing to the Island at 8:00 a.m daily. It takes about 01 hour. You need to get there at least 30 mins before the departure time to gaurantee a seat. The price in 2014 was 100,000VND one way. The boat returns at 11:30, so only really an option if you are staying over on the island, if you intend to, take your passport to secure accommodation.

3rd way (and safest): Dive boats. Both Cham Island Divers and Blue Coral Diving companies have booking offices on Nguyen Thai Hoc in the old town and offer snorkel, diving and camping trips over to the islands in the Summer months (approx March through to Sept - depending on weather).

4th way: By tour boat. Many booking offices in town supply this service - be aware of the ones using speedboats in rough seas.
