Visit the Capitol Complex - three major government buildings:
Secretariat, the Assembly, and the High Court. All designed by Le
Corbusier, Swiss-born French architect and planner, who also was the
chief architect of the city of Chandigarh. You must obtain permits to
visit these buildings.
Chand's Rock Garden. The park is open daily from April to September
between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 7 p.m. Between October and March, it

Rose Garden: An amazing span of open garden with at least a hundred patches of different strains of roses. The rose
garden of Chandigarh, India is the largest of its kind in Asia. Named
after India's former President, Zakir Hussain, this beautiful garden was
set up in 1967 with the support of Chandigarh's first Chief
Commissioner, late Dr M S Randhawa.
Sukhna Lake: Sukhna Lake is associated in Sector 1, adjoining the Rock Garden near the foothills of the Shivalik
Sukhna is an artificial lake. This 3 km rain-fed lake was created in
1958 by damming the Sukhna Choe, a seasonal stream coming down from the
Shivalik Hills. It has The Garden of Silence within it.
