El Vacquero - Authentic Mexican fare.  Very inexpensive yet the best homemade Mexican food around!  Try their enchiladas and their nachos.  Generous portions.  A favorite of those who live in the area.  Located on the east end of Center Street in downtown Alma.

Braveheart's Pub - A classic bar with your classic bar fare.  Everything from great burgers to fabulous quesadillas and wraps, plus great salads and appetizers (like the fried pickles!).  All in a welcoming Scottish atmosphere.  Located on Superior Street in downtown Alma, across from the Strand theatre.

The Country Inn - A warm, friendly place to go for some of the best soups, salads, and dinners around.  They have a fabulous buffet on weekends.  Their potato soup and chicken salad in a croissant are favorites.  Located on M-46 between Alma and St. Louis.

Petticoat Junction - Good old truckstop food.  The best all-you-can-eat fried fish on Fridays.  Breakfast anytime.  Located on M-46 just eas of the 127 ramp.

The Main Cafe - The place where everyone in town goes after church, after a parade, for men's club breakfasts: you know the kind of place every small town has.  The food here is excellent.  Daily specials, very reasonable prices, and friendly service.  But they close at 8 pm--their only downfall.  Located on Superior Street in downtown Alma.
