Urubamba Town is the Capital of the Province of Urubamba. It is located almost in the middle of the Sacred Valley, on the road that connects Pisac with Ollantaytambo.

You can get to Urubamba via the Pisac (longer) road or via the Chinchero (shorter) road. You can go by taxi, collectivo or by the local bus.

It is an excellent location to start visiting all the interesting sites offered in the Sacred Valley. Two less known places are the salt mines of Maras and the terraces of Moray. When visiting Chinchero, you should also take the opportunity to visit these two places.

At night you can go and dance with the locals at the Tequila discoteque.

A new and great attraction is the circus type performance by 4 great guys at the Wayra Restaurant from Wednesdays to Saturdays at dinner time. Its a fantastic show and it is included with your great meal. Do not miss it as you will be delighted with this great and unique performance.

During the day you can do :
