It is essentially a beach life in Lamu. There a very few organised sports facilities on Lamu but there is a real delight sailing on a dhow to go snorkelling or diving although there is no dive equipment to hire. In Shela you can hire a wind surfer and take lessons from the extemely able and friendly local guys. So no banana boat rides or jet ski's here.
