If you're looking for a family holiday destination then Vanuatu is one of the most 'child-friendly' places you'll visit.  It's a nice change to have numerous activities on offer to keep them occupied as well as giving the adults the opportunity to relax and have fun themselves.  It doesn't matter if it's raining either.  There's still heaps of things for the family to do so you don't have to be confined to a hotel room.

Some favourite spots where the staff are fantastic and the whole family is made to feel welcome include Moorings Hotel, which is a great place to have a few drinks and bump into some ex-pats with excellent local knowledge, Turtle Bay where the family can relax at the beach with shallow spots suitable for the little ones to swim and bungalows for shade, and Tamanu on the Beach for a nice meal.  Many of the fabulous restaurants and cafes in and around Port Vila are on ground level with outdoor access so kids can play outside within the view of parents.
