If you have a passport from these countries below, you don't need a VISA to get into Uruguay
Just fill out the form for the tourist cards (it will be given in the plane, or ferry to you) and you will get a 90 day stamp in your passport .
But your passport is not allowed to expire in less than 6 month.
You can get another 90 days, when you go to Immigration, this costs at the moment about 18 USD.
When your 180 days expire you MUST leave the country, even if you are sick or dead - for 24 hours, then you can return for a new 90 days/90 days visa.
