Use Amman as a base to travel and experience the most attractions for a minimum of four days is the best thing to do in planning a trip to Jordan, staying in one hotel in the middle, would save all the time and effort wasted in all the check in -out procedures, and of course Amman is the capital and many things to do at evening time ,from walking in the Rainbow street, seeing the Art Galleries, taking cooking classes, to dinning in great restaurants in the city will make your trip the most enjoyable and relaxing.

Since most the attractions such as Jerash, Ajloun, Dead sea, Madaba, Desert castles is with a 30 minutes to a one hour drive from Amman, spend every day from morning till afternoon in one of the tourist attraction that you like such as Jerash and Ajloun, then coming back to Amman taking a shower and relaxing, and go out enjoy the city markets, souqs, restaurants and of course people.

And of course after enjoying your first four days, head via the king's road to Petra in the south, book a hotel there for two nights to see Petra and Wadi rum then head even more south to take a dive in Aqaba at the Red Sea.

Transportation, using public transport is hectic way but good for travelers on a budget.

But for travelers who want to enjoy themselves before you go and rent a car, the prices for a car with a driver is cheaper than renting a car with a GPS and full insurance so why spend your time finding your way and asking for directions, just book a day trip from the hotel and enjoy your vacation taking photos on you day trips...
