This fountain resides on the Hyman Street Mall at the corner of Hyman and Mill Sts, right across from the Wheeler Opera House. It was designed by Nick Dewolf (with artist Travis Fulton) in 1979. Nick was innovator in semi-conductor building and testing, thus creating an electronic system for the fountain. It creates a random pattern for the 12 streams of water shooting straight up in the air at differnet heights, a pattern that will never repeat in 1.000 years!!! The kids love running through it on a hot summer day, as well as your daring drunks late at night!!!!!
