Skycourt Shopping Centre

The Skycourt Shopping Centre is the main shopping outlet in Shannon. Stores are mostly Irish chains and small boutiques that sell clothing, music, jewelry, stationery and the lile, but there are also a few unexpected things like a butcher shop, a dry cleaners and a delicious confectionery at O'Connor's bakery.

Some of the larger stores are Tesco, Dunnes Stores and Lidl, and a selection of dining options in the food court - including O'Brien's sandwich chain and other dining options in the complex, away from the food court are Supermacs chain and Eddie Rockets.

Farmers Market

For food, plants and handmade crafts, visit the Farmers Market at the town square near the Skycourt. Every Friday, vendors of fresh produce, baked sweets, candy, flowers, toys, embroidery and all sorts of other goods come to sell their products. If you are looking for souvenirs to take home, you can always try some local jam, honey, coffee or chocolate. You may even be able to bring back packaged cheese without much customs hassle (depending on country and sometimes specific type of cheese). Otherwise, try some hot scones or sausages while strolling around looking at everything.

 Ballycasey Craft and Design Centre

Set in the courtyard of an 18th Century Farmhouse the Centre was developed to promote what is best in Irish Crafts and Design.

Visitors facilities include the Rowenberry restaurant, ample car parking and toilet facilities.
