A Gothic building in miniature, St Anne’s is now a Community Arts Centre in the heart of historic Barnstaple. The building has been sympathetically restored with grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Devon County Council. St Anne’s is one of the towns oldest and most important buildings, predominantly early 14th century in date the building has served the town as Chantry, Grammar School, Huguenot Chapel and museum.
The building is open most Tuesday's and occassionally Thursday's from 11am - 1pm, free entry for anyone who wants to go in and have a look around. Volunteers on hand to answer questions and tell you about St Anne's history. More information on the town council website www.barnstapletowncouncil.co.uk
