Established in 1979, Hornið is the oldest Italian-style restaurant in Reykjavik, located in an old harbour trading house in the city centre. It specialises in Italian pizza and pasta, served in its warm and cozy locale near the harbour. Hornið also boasts the finest traditional seafood soup in Reykjavík, very smooth, creamy and delicate. Moderate prices.

NOTE: Due to the lack of Icelandic font characters, the name is misspelt. It should be Hornið (pronounced Hornith).
