The Philips Museum in the centre of Eindhoven has recently re-opened and now houses an interesting exhibit of the electronics multinational's history. The original factory workshop where the first light bulb was developed, has been wrapped up in a contemporary glass building. The history of the Philips family merges with that of the light bulb, radio's and early x-ray lamps. Well worth a visit!
