The Church of Santa Maria de Palacio was constructed between the 12th and 13th centuries. The church was remodeled in the 16th and 17th centuries. The main doorway is protected by an arcade that looks like a classic altarpiece with the figure of the Assumption of the Virgin. There is a tower with four parts dating from the 16th century and the top looks like a pyramid with a Gothic design. The interior of the church has three naves. The Chapel of Nuestra Señora de la Antigua has the image of the Virgin from the 13th century in polychromed stone. The main altarpiece was created in the 16th century by Arnao de Bruselas.
