7. ArtsSantaMonica – a FREE museum for creative arts in the Ramblas!

Probably many people just walk by Arts Santa Mònica not even realizing that it is a museum!  The building was the old convent of Santa Mònica, founded in 1636, declared in 1984 historical monument of national interest and it was converted into an exhibition gallery.

Arts Santa Mònica hosts now temporary exhibitions of different forms of art, especially contemporary art and new cultural and multidisciplinary tendencies such as film, architecture, theatre, dance, music, literature and other creative arts.   There is a ramp and an elevator for persons with limited mobility. It is ALWAYS FREE, it is really interesting and it is just in the Rambla. Go and have a look! http://www.artssantamonica.cat
