Each April, the Old Antibes Antique and Brocante Fair draws more than 60,000 visitors to the marquee to browse among the furniture, paintings, brocante section, and other antiques, and chat with the experts.

June is time for the Battle of the Flowers, organized by the Friends of Old Antibes. Several local associations enter their own floral creations, which are displayed as floats and paraded through the town along with brass bands.

The biggest event in Juan-les-Pins is the annual Festival International de Jazz. Every July this international jazz festival comes to town for 10 to 12 days, bringing jazz musicians and fans from all over the world. Concerts take place in a temporary stadium in Le Parc de la Pinede.

And in nearby Cannes, film star, photographers, and fans flock to International Film Festival each May, held at the Palais des Festivals on promenade de la Croisette. It is close to impossible to get tickets for the major screenings, and restaurants fill up quickly. It is possible to gain entrance to some of the lesser films, and many people feel it’s worth the trip just to watch the activity from the sidelines.
