Saint Jean de Luz is a tourist town which lies very close to the French/Spain boarder. It’s a town known for its fishing port which tourists from all over the world like to visit.

Some of the main attractions in Saint Jean de Luz are the many seafood restaurants. Obviously, the fish served at these restaurants is very fresh. Another popular attraction in town is the main church which was built in the 13th century. It is open to tourists every day of the week in the morning and in the afternoon. It does close for a few hours during the middle of the day. The interior of the church is impressive and museum-like.

The Maison de l'Infante is another popular building to visit. It has a few rooms that visitors can enter to see a fantastic carved fireplace and painted ceilings.

The beach is another very popular tourist attraction. It gets very crowded with visitors during the summer months because it is known as one of the most desired beaches in the entire country.
