Belltable Arts Centre, 69 O'Connell Street
The Belltable provides programs of a wide variety of arts, including dance, theatre, film, music and comedy. Established in 1981, this is Limerick's premier showcase for the performing arts. The Centre puts on performances of a wide variety of artists, musicians and groups, both local and international. Each year, the venue is home to the Limerick Unfringed theatre festival, which draws a diverse selection of dramatic pieces and other events to the city. A film club screens both art house and popular films each week during its Film Club Season.
In addition, there is a bar and a gallery space in the foyer of the building. Belltable Arts Centre is located at 69 O'Connell Street in downtown Limerick, east of the river. The Loft Theatre at the Locke Bar, Georges Quay
The Loft Theatre, located adjacent to the Locke Bar on Georges Quay is a recently established entertainment venue with a seating area of up to 100 people, as well as standing room, it is an ideal venue for theatre, music, literature, comedy & private events and has its own resident theatre company, Bottom Dog Theatre. The Locke Bar also has a restaurant onsite - The Oyster House or there are two other restaurants alongside namely The River Bistro and Azur Restaurant. The University Concert Hall, University of Limerick
Established in 1993, this 1,000 seat auditorium is home to regular musical, operatic, ballet, drama, comedy, rock/pop performances from established local, national and internationally renowned acts. Dolans Bar and Restaurant, Dock Road
Dolans is a bit of a Limerick landmark. With performances from every musical genre, from both high profile and up and coming acts and comedy performances in between, Dolans is one of Limerick's legendary nightlife hot-spots. Honeyfitz Theatre, Lough Gur, Co. Limerick
The theatre gets its name from John Francis Fitzgerald (1863 - 1950) who was Mayor of Boston and grandfather to President John F. Kennedy and known as "Honey Fitz" because of his beautiful singing voice. The Fitzgerald's emigrated to Boston from this area www.loughgur.com
